Welcome back to Beer/30, our end-of-the-month blog, at 32 North. This is Collier Turley, Head Brewer/Lead Janitor/Chips and Salsa Connoisseur.
This month has been pretty wild! First and foremost, WE GOT A NEW BREWHOUSE and we couldn’t be more pumped. Our brand new, 20 barrel 3 vessel brewhouse is double the size of our previous system, which means double the amount of beer we're going to make for you.
We also brought out some barrel-aged beers that we’ve been itching to get into a glass. My favorite being Jesters Dead, a double IPA we brewed last year that we decided would be great to throw into some gin barrels. It's super complex, super delicious and were super excited to share it with you.
We're also finally feeling that warm, San Diego weather which means beer fests! Friday, our team loaded up the van and headed downtown to J Six for their Friday night, Brews on the Roof, series, followed by Saturday's Made in San Diego #MISD Block Party.
All in all, it has been a great month. We’ve been working non stop to get our new equipment together, get fresh beer into the world and still make time to enjoy the sun and party together on the weekends.
